Zanjeer remake to have two item numbers

Mumbai The remake of 1973 film Zanjeer will have two item songs, of which one will be picturised on actress Mahie Gill. "We will definitely have item numbers in the film. In fact, we have decided to go with two item numbers," producer Amit Mehra told IANS. "The songs are a part of the script and they will be situational. One item song will be featured on Mahie and for the other, we are yet to decide whom to cast," he added. In the remake, Mahie will play the role of Mona Darling, originally played by Bindu. The film, to be directed by Apoorva Lakhia, will feature southern superstar Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
