Zoya’s ship failed to sail!

Bollywood director, Zoya Akhtar came home with a large piece of her forthcoming film, Dil Dhadakne Do. But it is heard that the movie which was shot on a sail liner got off to a fake beginning.

The cruise with Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra and Shefali Shah on floorboard was believed to start sailing from Barcelona on May 18 and sail via Spain, Italy, France and Tunisia, shooting on the way, before stopping in Turkey for an additional three week shoot.

However on the planned day, subsequent a mechanical hitch, the ship was not only unsuccessful to sail, but stayed still on the shore for seven days. According to a source "The cast and the crew were dismayed, thinking the shoot would be called off as there was a problem in the engine. But in just a few hours, Zoya revised her flow chart and continued to shoot on the stationary ship. The scenes which required the ship to be in motion were set aside. Thankfully, the ship started on the eighth day, and everyone heaved a sigh of relief."
