The Conjuring is set to release this Friday and already people are talking about just how scary it is! The recent contributions to the horror genre have just comprised of psychotic slasher movies that leave you disturbed more than scared. So, we have put together a list of some fab must watch scary movies!

A sematary which can bring the buried dead back to life, this creepy movie was based on a Stephen King novel.

49.Child’s Play (1988)

What will you do if the most horrfic looking doll called Chucky is out to kill you? This film spawned several sequels but we think only the first one is worth a watch!

48.Saw (2004)

Saw part 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 don't hold a candle to the gory serial killer based first part! Each character death is more twisted than the last - a must watch for people who can stand a bit of blood and guts on screen!

This low-budget surprise hit was a realistic and scary take on the haunted house genre! You will be screaming by the end of it! (You do know that this wasn't a true story, right?)

29.Horror of Dracula (1959)

This is a classic example of horror done by the Hammer Studios. Christopher Lee's Dracula is as menacing as he is handsome. He's the best vampire! (with all due respect to Bela Lugosi)

28.The Wicker Man (1973)

With one of the most brilliant and terrifying story lines whose careful build up of mystery will leave you spellbound. Another Christopher Lee starrer for the insatiable horror buffs!
