Aaron Paul in negotiations to star in The Dark Tower

Smashed actor Aaron Paul is involved in negotiations to star in Ron Howard’s big screen adaptation of The Dark Tower authored by Stephen King. If the deal is finalised the actor may get roped in for the role of Eddie Dean, the lead character in the book series.

Paul said, "I`ve had a ton of meetings on that. I just had a general sit down with Ron Howard, who is a huge fan of the show (`Breaking Bad`), which is such a crazy thing to even think that Ron Howard even knows who I am.” The actor added, "They`re definitely planning on making it. I`m excited. Their goal is to do three films, but also have a television element to it, which will be very interesting. From what I hear, Eddie Dean is a pretty epic, iconic character.” Aaron has starred in films like Mission: Impossible III, Choking Man and The Last House on the Left including television series like Breaking Bad and Big Love.
