The Academy releases entries’ list for Oscar nominations in Best Animated Film category

The Oscar nominations in the Best Animated Film category have got nineteen entries this year. A list of the submitted films has been released by the Academy which includes titles like Monsters University and Despicable Me 2.

The list also features some titles which are yet-to-be-released like Frozen and Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises. Since last few years Pixar has been ruling the award show as it won last year for Brave and also took away five of the last six Oscar trophies. The 86th Academy Awards final nominations will be announced on January 16 and the awards ceremony will be held on March 2. The list of the entries features the following titles:
