Amber Heard Still Shares Friendly Bond With Elon Musk

After having been together for more than a year, Amber Heard and Elon Reeve Musk have called it quits. On August 8, the actress officially opened up about her split from the tech magnate. She shared a photo of herself placing a fork in her hair, above a shot of 'The Little Mermaid's Ariel doing the same and captioned it as "Put a fork in it." The pair first met in 2013 on the set of 'Machete Kills’.

However, Musk assured the public that there's no ill-feeling between them and even hinted that they might possibly reunite. “Btw, just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another”, Musk commented on one of Heard’s Instagram posts.

Further, the Tesla CEO said, “Long distance relationships, when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds”. The Rum Diary star was previously married to Johnny Depp for 15 months. Meanwhile, Musk shares five sons with his first wife Justine Musk.
