    Tom Hanks starrer Cold War thriller, by Steven Spielberg, is getting more entries to its casting couch, reportedly. Oscar-nominee Amy Ryan of Gone Baby Gone fame has bagged the project to play the wife of Hanks’ character, James Donovan.

    The film revolves around a lawyer who tried hard to arrange the release of a spy plane pilot who was taken hostage by the Soviet Union. The character of Hanks won the Distinguished Intelligence Medal acknowledging his attempt to release U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers who was shot down over Russian territory in 1960. It has also been learnt that another Oscar nominee Alan Alda may join the cast too, though the role has not been revealed yet. The latest developments have been announced by DreamWorks Pictures who is partnering with 20th Century Fox in financing this yet-to-be-titled project. The script for the film has been penned by Joel and Ethan Coen and it will reunite Hanks and Spielberg following their previous collaborations in Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can and The Terminal.
