Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: New full-length trailer released

A classic film is soon going to hit the movie-lovers’ world reuniting the elite film personalities like Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and Christina Applegate altogether. Yes we are talking about the sequel to Anchorman, Anchorman 2. Paramount has released its first full-length trailer.

As evident from the trailer, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is set in the backdrop of the 80s New York City following Ron Burgundy and his diverse crew of news broadcasters from the Channel 4 news team. All of them are set to revive their careers with a new 24-hour news channel. As Ron gets introduced to the new idea he becomes energetic enough to get in front of the camera, "I'm not going to do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this earth to do: have salon-quality hair and read the news."

It seems too that Ron would get involved in a new relationship in the sequel. Another section shows a romantic conversation between Brick and his wife (Kristen Wiig), "Your hair looks like wet popcorn." "I like the parts of your face that are covered in skin." The script of Anchorman 2 has been written by Ferrell and Adam McKay. On Tuesday a new poster was also released showing Ron in his famous moustache. Another version of the trailer is expected to appear ahead of Brad Pitt's zombie flick World War Z. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will open this December.
