Anticipated New Season for Hannibal Might Have Fewer Episodes

Developer of NBC’s thriller-horror ‘Hannibal’, Bryan Fuller has revealed crucial information about the series. According to TV Insider, Fuller stated, “Yeah, the new venue would be an opportunity to adjust how many episodes we do”. Hannibal has gained extremely positive reviews since its premier in 2013. The role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter is played by Mads Mikkelsen.

“It feels so digestible. Tightening up the story and shoring up the narrative by three episodes is exciting. It can make things tighter and move quicker”, Fuller said. He expressed his desire to have 9 or 10 episodes in a season, instead of 13.

Fuller also said that the issue of bringing back Hannibal for season four is being discussed. He added, “The studio had asked me what the scope of season four is, so they could prepare production proposals for potential distribution partners. That’s where we essentially left it. It’s all still unfolding as we speak”.
