Argo wins Best Picture at the Critics Choice Movie Awards

Just hours after Oscar nominations have been announced, the Broadcast Film Critics Association also announced the winners of the 18th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards. Ben Affleck'sArgohas been presented with two biggest awards of Best Pictureand Best Director, whileSilver Linings Playbookemerged as winner of four awards including Best Comedy, Best Comedy Actor (Bradley Cooper) and Best Actress (Jennifer Lawrence).

Similar to Oscar race,Steven Spielberg'sLincolnalso led with the most nominations in 2013 Critics' Choice Movie Awards where it managed to win Best Actor, Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score honours.
