Barack Obama likes Anne Hathaways performance in The Dark Knight Rises

Hollywood star Anne Hathaway has found an admirer in none other than US President Barack Obama, who feels the actress is the best thing'' in The Dark Knight Rises. Speaking at a campaign fundraiser organized by film producer Harvey Weinstein at his home in Connecticut yesterday, Obama said that Anne was ''spectacular'' in the film. ''I got a chance to see Batman, and she was the best thing in it. That's just my personal opinion.'' The actress who co-hosted the event was flattered by the appreciation. Joanne Woodward, Aaron Sorkin, Weinstein, Jerry Springer and American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour were some of the prominent persons who attended the $35,800-per-plate dinner.
