Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Announce Divorce

42-year-old Ben Affleck and 43-year-old Jennifer Garner have announced that they will be filing for divorce. They made the announcement one day after their 10th wedding anniversary. A source told Reuters that the couple have been separated for over six months.

In a joint statement, the couple stated, “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children, whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time”. The couple has three children, all under the age of 10.

Earlier this month, various tabloid publications reported seeing moving vans near the couple's Southern California home. Known for his role as Marvel superhero ‘Daredevil’, Ben Affleck has a successful career with movies like Argo and Gone Girl. Jennifer Garner starred in Daredevil as well, alongside Ben. She is also known for her role in Dallas Buyers Club.
