    Rumours were doing rounds that Star Trek Into Darkness actor Benedict Cumberbatch will once again be a part of director J.J. Abrams` long-awaited follow-up to the original Star Wars trilogy, but the reports have been denied by the actor.

    His spokesperson divulged that the 37-year-old Hollywood heartthrob has not been signed up for Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII. His rep said, "There is no truth to the rumour Benedict has been cast in Star Wars. I think the rumours are circling because JJ and Benedict have just recently had a wonderful time working together on Star Trek.” Speculations peaked on the same because of his exit from director Guillermo Del Toro`s project, Crimson Peak. Star Wars: Episode VII is slated to undergo shooting in London early next year.
