‘Black Adam’ Rumoured To Appear As The Main Villain In 'Suicide Squad 2'

As it is widely known, Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson was roped into the DC Comic Universe by Warner Bros. to portray the superhero character of ‘Shazam’. Interestingly, Dwayne Johnson chose to portray the role of the enemy of the superhero character. The Scorpion King star will be playing the role of the supervillain ‘Black Adam’.

Now, the rumours are churning that the character of ‘Black Adam’ will appear in ‘Suicide Squad 2’. The storyline of the upcoming sequel is said to circle around Harley Quinn and the rest of the squad. The movie will go on the floors in October 2018 and will be helmed by Gavin O’Conner, who has previously helmed The Accountant. Regarding his supervillain character, The Rock was quoted as saying, “We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can't reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced”.

‘Suicide Squad 2’ is slated to release in 2019. ‘Black Adam’ may also star in the upcoming ‘Shazam!’ standaolone superhero movie. ‘Shazam!’ will be helmed by David F. Sandberg and star Zachary Levi in the lead role.
