Boo! A Madea Halloween Still Atop The Box Office Earning Chart

Tyler Perry’s ‘Boo! A Madea Halloween’ still maintains its spot on the top of the weekend box office list, leaving behind Tom Hanks’ ‘Inferno’. The movie brought in $17 million over its second weekend and has reached a worldwide gross of $55 million. This comes as great news for the filmmakers, mostly Tyler Perry, as he was the director, actor, writer and one of the producers for the film.

The third instalment in the Dan Brown cinematic adaptation series, ‘Inferno’, starring Tom Hanks and Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan saw an opening of $14.8 million. Seems like a slow start for the film but, it has already crossed its production budget with its worldwide earnings reaching $148 million. ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ brought in $9.6 million on its second weekend. The Tom Cruise starrer has now earned $96 million worldwide.

Running on its third weekend, ‘The Accountant’ holds the fourth spot on the top five list with its $8.4 million. The worldwide earnings have now reached $83 million. ‘Ouija: Origin of Evil’ brought in $7.1 million on its second weekend. Made on a budget of just $9 million, the movie seems to be doing quite well, reaching the $45 million mark.
