Brad Pitt Opens Up About Family, Religion

Inglourious Basterds actor Brad Pitt has revealed that even though he was brought up as a Christian, he is an atheist. The actor was raised as a Baptist but now practices no religion. He said, “My upbringing had all the Christian guilt about what you can and cannot, should and shouldn’t do”.

Brad also spoke about raising kids and being part of a loving family. He revealed, “I am (a disciplinarian) with the boys. Girls do no wrong so I don’t have to be. I feel like my job is to show them around, help them find what they want to do with their life, put as many things in front of them, and pull them back when they get out of line, so they know who they are”.

The 52-year-old believes that his family has made him a better actor. “I think you can see it in my work. I was a pretty good actor before, but definitely hit and miss. I think I became a really good actor”.
