Brad Pitt Will Be A Spaceman In This Sci-fi Movie

It seems that sci-fi movies about outer space are the new trend in hollywood. As it is known, renowned actors have opted for roles in movies related to outer space such as Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar, Matt Damon in The Martian, George Clooney and Sandra Bullock in Gravity.

Recently, hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has joined the bandwagon by joining forces with director James Gray to take the lead role in the sci-fi movie ‘Ad Astra’. The 53-year old actor will be portraying the role of Ethan Ross, an engineer who faces great difficulty in using language and abstract concepts as well as communicating and forming relationships with other people. The engineer’s father left 20 years ago on a one-way mission to Neptune in order to find signs of extra-terrestrial intelligence. The engineer now sets his aim to find his father and discover the reason behind his father’s failure.

This movie will be a challenge for director as it will be his first step towards the sci-fi genre. Director James Gray has directed critically acclaimed movies in the past such as The Immigrant and The Lost City of Z. The sci-fi project ‘Ad Astra’ will go on the floors from July 17 onwards.
