Captain America Trailer Breaks Marvel’s Record

The recently unveiled Captain America: Civil War trailer has broken Marvel’s record by pooling in 61 million views in the first 24 hours. The teaser trailer was revealed by Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. during their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The record was previously held by Avengers: Age of Ultron and its 34 million views.

The teaser shows Captain America being called a vigilante for the uncontrolled use of power. Captain America and Bucky Barns, The Winter Soldier, team up to go against Iron Man and the others. The movie will also introduce Black Panther, a glimpse of whom in seen in the trailer.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Civil War will be released on May 6 next year. Chris, Robert and Sebastian Stan will be returning in their iconic roles along with Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle and Elizabeth Olsen. The movie will also debut Tom Holland as Spider-Man.
