Charlie Hunnam joins James Gray's ‘Lost City of Z’

Charlie Hunnam is set to star in James Gray's ‘Lost City of Z’ opposite Sienna Miller and Robert Pattinson. Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are producing through their Plan B Entertainment along with Dale Johnson and Anthony Katagas. Marc Butan is exclusive producing with MICA Entertainment's Julie B. May and Glenn Murray.

According to sources, Pacific Rim star Hunnam is stepping in for Benedict Cumberbatch to portray Fawcett, who was never seen again after leading an expedition to find an ancient city in the Amazon. Hunnam's other upcoming movies include Guy Ritchie's ‘Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur’ as well as Guillermo del Toro's ‘Crimson Peak’ and his sequel to ‘Pacific Rim.’ Based on an original novel by David Grann, The Lost City of Z is expected to start production in summer.
