Charlie Hunnam roped in for cop drama Triple Nine

The handsome Pacific Rim actor Charlie Hunnam has come into association with Anonymous Content’s cop drama Triple Nine. The other stars who are also involved in the negotiations are Christoph Waltz and Cate Blanchett.

The thriller, written by Matt Cook, is set to be helmed by John Hillcoat of Lawless and The Road fame. It is all about a heist in L.A. in which a cop is targeted by a group of thieves to be murdered to divert authorities from their focused area in their town. The character of the cop would be played by Hunnam. The project will be produced by Steve Golin, Bard Dorros and Keith Redmon. Hunnam, who is best known for his roles in Sons of Anarchy and the latest Pacific Rim, is gearing up to reunite with Guillermo del Toro for Crimson Peak.
