Chuck Russell Talks About His Upcoming Bollywood Venture

'A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors' director Chuck Russell will be venturing into Bollywood with his upcoming flick ‘Junglee’ starring Vidyut Jammwal. The director will be dealing with the subject of poaching in his film. Recently, Chuck spoke about his film and also shared his thoughts on the Bollywood industry.

Chuck feels that the highest achievement in film for him is to be able to transcend language and touch the audiences around the world with an emotionally truthful film. 'Junglee' is being touted as an action/adventure with comedy and romance. “My goal is to make a film that is true to India, but uses the music, dance and the wonderful artists in Bollywood to tell a universal story about returning to the natural world”, Chuck shared.

The director revealed that he has been engaged with Indian cinema for a few years now. He has visited Mumbai several times. ‘Junglee’ will be released next year.
