    Disney’s Cinderella debuted to a massive $70.1 million domestically, taking the No. 1 spot at the box office. The live action fairytale directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Lily James, Cate Blanchett, and Richard Madden, grossed $132.1 million worldwide. Cinderella follows live-action hits such as Maleficent, whose May 2014 debut of $69.4 million was edged out by Cinderella.

    Liam Neeson’s ‘Run All Night,’ a New York crime saga, opened with $11 million for Warner Bros. It’s the weakest debut for the Taken star as an action-film lead. Kingsman: The Secret Service, now in its fifth week, came in at third place with $6.2 million which is just about 25 percent less than last weekend’s $8.3 million. Last week’s top film, the sci-fi thriller Chappie, from District 9 director Neill Blomkamp, slid to forth with $5.8 million for Sony Pictures. However, Fifty Shades of Grey only brought in an addition $2.9 million, placing at No. 11 for the weekend.
