Colin Farrell feared sobriety would ruin his acting skills

The Golden Globe Award winner, Colin Farrell was scared of soberness andthought it would ruin his acting skills. The actor who has been into rehabilitation since 2005for alcohol and drug consumption said, Seven years sober. I'm really grateful. It's really lovelyto be present in my life. I was terrified of being sober because, I'm not saying I was a greatactor before or a great actor since, but I was terrified that whatever my capacity was as an actorbeforehand, however little or large - it would completely disappear. I subscribed to the notionthat to be able to express yourself in an artistic form in life, you have to live in perpetual pain,and its nonsense. There's enough pain in the world, Farrell said.
