Colin Firth tries to get his parent’s attention via his work

Star actor Colin Firth has made a statement that he tries to impress his parents by his films. He quoted, “I've tried to impress them with distinguished roles where you don't feel apologetic about your chosen profession. Playing a king is much better than when I'm prancing around in 'Mamma Mia!”

The 53-year-old actor is having a line of films ready to get released in 2014; Magic in the Moonlight, Before I Go to Sleep and Paddington. The actor has numerous films in his career so far and he always gives it a try in making his character varied from his previous one. We don’t know whether his parents are impressed or not but we do know they must be really proud of him as all his fans are.
