Everybody knows that the sequel of 'Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them' has been planned and the work on the film has started. Now, an interesting update is here regarding the cast of the film. Director David Yates has booked Jude Law to play the role of young Albus Dumbledore in the sequel.

J.K. Rowling has penned the script for the sequel, which is slated to release next year. According to the reports of Hollywoodreporter.com, Jude’s character will be set up against Johnny Depp’s one. Depp played dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in the first film.

At a press conference, Rowling revealed some tits-bits about the story of the sequel. Grindelwald, who was best friend of Dumbledore when they were teens, emerges into one of the most powerful dark wizards in history. "Dumbledore fell in love with Grindelwald, and that added to his horror when Grindelwald showed himself to be what he was. There's lots to unpack in that relationship," she said. Previously, when she was on a press tour, Rowling revealed that Dumbledore is gay.
