Deadpool Stays On The Top

Ryan Reynolds starrer Deadpool retains its top spot at the weekend box office. The movie has been running for three weeks now and pooled in $31 million this weekend. Deadpool has now crossed the $600 million mark worldwide. The recently released Gods of Egypt grossed $14 million on its opening weekend.

Gods of Egypt stars Gerard Butler and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. The animated flick Kung Fu Panda 3 has pooled in $9 million on its fifth weekend. The film with Jack Black voicing the main character Po has earned $314 million worldwide. The third instalment also introduces Jack Black’s father, voiced by Bryan Cranston.

Joseph Fiennes and Tom Felton starrer Risen claims the fourth spot on the top five list. The movie pooled in $7 million on its second weekend sending its total to $22 million worldwide. The Dexter Fletcher directorial Eddie the Eagle saw an opening weekend of $6.3 million. Along with Eddie the Eagle, Triple 9 also hit the screens and grossed $6.1 million.
