Desert Dancer: first official trailer is out

Relativity Studios has released the official trailer of the dramatic movie Desert Dancer. The film is directed by first time feature film helmer Richard Raymond. The cast of Desert Dancer includes Freida Pinto, Reece Ritchie, Tom Cullen, and Makram J. Khoury.

The movie is based on the incredible life of Iranian citizen Afshin Ghaffarian, his fearless desire to dance in a country where it is illegal. Set amidst the turmoil of the 2009 presidential election, Ghaffarian puts together an underground dance troupe in an effort to express himself and his art when all the authorities want to put him in jail. ‘Desert Dancer’ opens in select theaters on April 10.
