    Dreamworks kicks out Kung Fu Panda 3 first trailer


    Dreamworks has released the official trailer for Kung-Fu Panda 3. The trailer had already got 5.5 million views in just 4 days. The movie features the reunion of Jack Black as Po, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, Jackie Chan, David Cross, James Hong, Randall Duk Kim, Rebel Wilson, Bryan Cranston and J. K. Simmons.


    "I've played a variety of badasses in my career," Simmons said per USA Today. "I do like to mix it up. I like being a character actor playing different kinds of guys. Or, now, different kinds of beasts," he added.


    Kung Fu Panda 3 is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni, from a script by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. Directors Jennifer and Carloni say Simmons is developing a villain who can also go for laughs. "Kai wants revenge, and he's a bitter, bitter guy," Carloni says. "But when he becomes vulnerable, J.K. can make him hilarious."


    According to the Los Angeles Times, the project (Kung-Fu Panda 3) which cost $140 million will be the first from Oriental DreamWorks, a Shanghai-based venture with partners that include Shanghai Media Group and China Media Capital and Shanghai Media Group. Kung Fu Panda 3 opens on January 29, 2016.
