    The super hit 1980s TV show The Fall Guy is all set to have a big-screen version teaming up Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the lead actor and Joseph McGinty "McG" Nichol as the director. Both the filmmaker and the actor are presently engaged in the negotiations for the project.

    Sources confirmed that the project will be sponsored by Ashok Amritrage’s Hyde Park Entertainment and WWE Entertainment. Amritragewill have co-producers likeWalter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald who uphold the rights to the TV show. The project will also be produced by McG, probably. On the small screen Lee Majors appeared as a stunt man benefitting from his Hollywood skills. It was a popular ABC show from 1981 to 1986. Since last few years the show was being eyed by Warner Bros. and DreamWorks for a big-screen project with Nicolas Cage in their mind for the lead role.
