Ed Sheeran Has Left The Twitter Building

You would think that being one of the best singers in the world, one would be free of all the hate and drama. But, sadly, that can’t be true. Hit singer-song writer Ed Sheeran was forced to leave Twitter because of all the cruel comments coming his way. In a recent interview with The Sun, Ed spoke about leaving Twitter and trying to figure out why people dislike him so much.

The Shape of You singer stated that every time he logged on to Twitter, there were only mean things people were saying about him. “I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it. I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter’s a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it. The head-f**k for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much”, Ed shared.

This doesn’t mean that the singer has left all social media platforms. He still uses his Instagram but, it automatically generates Tweets sharing the photos that he uploads on it. Ed’s Twitter handle, with 19.1 million followers, still remains open but he will not be using it anymore.
