Emma Roberts, Zachary Quinto team up with James Franco for Gay drama ‘Michael’

Emma Roberts has joined the cast of ‘Michael’, that also stars her former co-star James Franco. Zachary Quinto is also coming in as a part of the movie which is about a pastor turning anti-gay while he was once a gay himself. The film will be directed by Justin Kelly and will soon go on floors.

Based on a New York Times Magazine article by Benoit Denizet-Lewis about Michael Glatze the film is titled ‘Michael’ and is a Gay Drama. Zachary will play the character of Franco’s boyfriend while Emma will play her Girlfriend. The film will also star Chris Zylka who comes in as an old love interest. Talking about the film the director said “This isn’t just a story about an ‘ex-gay. It’s actually a very relatable story about the power of belief and the desire to belong.” The film is produced by Franco, Vince Jolivette, Michael Mendelsohn, Ron Singer and Scott Reed along with Gus van Sant being the executive producer.
