The blue carpet at the Empire Leicester Square had gone star-studded when the likes of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriquez sent the fans into a tizzy at the world premiere of Fast & Furious 6. Other cast members of the latest addition to the franchise, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriquez, Elsa Pataky, Gina Carano and Luke Evans also gathered at the venue to set the temperatures soaring.

The crowd showed a lot of interest in Rodriquez who would return to the film after her demise. The upcoming installment will also mark the return of Dom Teretto (Diesel) and former FBI agent Brian O'Conner (Walker). Justin Lin was the most proud celebrity on the spot as he has now a record of six directorial projects in the same franchise and it was his consecutive trip to the British capital. The movie has a special connection with U.K. as it has been shot extensively in the country.

All the stars were flooded with questions from their crazy fans who were struggling hard to get a glimpse of their favourite actors. The stars were also quite enthusiastic while addressing the Londoners and the onlookers also asked for a seventh outing of the team. All the cast members were introduced onstage by director Lin and Universal was thanked by all of them for their 12-year-long collaboration with the franchise. Lin's Fast debut, Tokyo Drift, earned $158 million at the overseas box-office, and the most recent, 2011's Fast Five, grossed a huge $626 million. A new life has been breathed into the once-considered worn-out franchise with the latest installment Fast & Furious 6, one of the most anticipated films of this summer.
