Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is all set to make a PG-13 movie on horror writer H.P. Lovecraft`s novel named ‘At the Mountains of Madness’. The movie was to be launched earlier by Universal Pictures; however it closed down as the makers faced trouble to finance the project.

Guillermo del Toro gave a hint that he may re-start the venture with Legendary Pictures. The director said, "I said to them, `That`s the movie that I would really love to do one day, and it`s still expensive`. I think that now, with the way I`ve seen PG-13 become more and more flexible, I think I could do it PG-13 now, so I`m going to explore it with Legendary, to be as horrifying as I can, but to not be quite as graphic." He further said, "It`s certainly a possibility in the future. Legendary was very close to doing it at one point, so I know they love the screenplay. So, we`ll see. Hopefully it`ll happen. It`s certainly one of the movies I would love to do." The story is based on disastrous expedition to the Antarctic continent.

Del Toro recently confirmed to media that he would make sequel of his legendary movie Pacific Rim. Pacific Rim is a science fiction monster film which released in 2013. It did well at the box office and received numerous awards and nominations.
