Final Trailer For The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Released

Lionsgate has released the final trailer for the forthcoming instalment in The Hunger Games series, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II. The trailer shows Katniss Everdeen making a speech to motivate the people against the capital. Mockingjay Part II will be the final instalment in the franchise.

The trailer opens with Katniss dancing with her sister and the next moment, standing in rebellion against the capital. With an inspiring monologue, she instils hope of freedom in the minds of the people and asks them to “turn your weapons to Snow”. The movie will be the fourth and final part in the series based on the novels by Suzanne Collins.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, Mockingjay Part II will be released on November 20 in the U.S. Jennifer Lawrence will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen, along with Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket and Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy. The movie is produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik.
