Finding Dory To Recapture The Finding Nemo Feel

Finding Dory is the sequel to the 2003 animated film Finding Nemo. The movie have Ellen DeGeneres reprise her role as the voice actor for the forgetful blue tang Dory. Modern Family star Ty Burrell will be the voice for the snub-nosed beluga whale.

Burrell says, “I’m a huge fan. It’s hard to find that balance of very sweet, very funny and great adventure in a story”. Burrell’s snub-nosed beluga will have another friend named Destiny, a whale shark, voiced by Kaitlin Olson. Talking about his character, Burrell said, “My character isn’t great at his own sonar capability, and Destiny has trouble swimming straight”, to which Kaitlin added, “We totally get on each other’s nerves. I like to think I’m a shark, but Bailey calls me a whale, and I make fun of his head, because it’s gigantic”.

Kaitlin also stated, “We would just play off each other. Though to be honest, I was probably the boss of the entire situation, because I always like to be”. She added, “I’m a lot nicer in this movie than I am in my television show. You don’t really see Sweet Dee being sweet, ever. This character is. It was a lot of fun to play that and be vulnerable”.
