Fox Declares Deadpool 2 With Ryan Reynolds, Tim Miller

20th Century Fox has confirmed that a sequel of ‘Deadpool’ is in making with Ryan Reynolds returning in the lead role. The Canadian actor is all set to reprise his role as Wade Wilson, also known as the ‘merc with a mouth’. The revelation has come after a few months of the release of the Marvel’s project.

The news of the forthcoming sequel was officially confirmed by the studio’s panel at CinemaCon 2016. The same creative team behind the actor’s blockbuster will work back along with director Tim Miller, who made his directorial debut with the flick, and script writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The 39 year-old-actor, who played a handful of superheroes roles, is also going to work in a supporting role in Life, a sci-fi script written by Reese and Wernick.

Cabel will join the sequel to play the primary antagonist. Deadpool 2 is expected to hit cinemas in early 2018, but no release date has been announced yet. The sequel has already raised expectations of the fans as the original movie had smashed the box office records for an R-rated art piece, earning over $750 million USD worldwide.
