Game of Thrones Season 6 Will Show Ned Star’s Childhood

The forthcoming season of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones will have a flashback scene of Ned Stark’s childhood. 13-year-old British actor Sebastian Croft is expected to play young Ned Stark. It is also speculated that the flashback could show young Robert Baratheon and Brandon Stark.

Reportedly, he was cast for the role as he fulfilled the requirements for a Northern accent, brown hair and sharp features. The details of the role are unclear but fansite Watchers on the Wall has provided information stating that the character will be sparring with a wooden sword in a scene. HBO has made no comment on the cast for the sixth season.

The fifth season ended with many cliff-hangers including the stabbing of John Snow (Kit Harington), Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) jumping off the wall and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) losing her eyesight. With all these unanswered questions the sixth season has become highly anticipated and the fans have developed great expectations. It will be aired in spring next year.
