    Gravity keeps dominating the award business, wins big at Saturn Movie Awards

    The winning streak for last year’s Hollywood Blockbuster ‘Gravity’ doesn’t seem to take a break. After having won seven academy awards, the film grabbed five prizes at the Saturn Movie awards too, which included the big honours of best Director (Alfonso Cuaron), best Sci-fi film and also the best actress for Sandra Bullock.

    The other films that left a mark at the ceremony were ‘Her’ and the Robert Downey Jr. Starrer ‘Iron Man 3’. ‘Her’ received best fantasy film, best writing for Spike Jonze, and best supporting actress for which Scarlett Johansson was honoured. The Super-Hero, kid’s favourite Iron Man won the best actor award Robert, best supporting actor for Ben Kingsley and the best Comic to motion picture award. The much talked about last year’s bone chilling movie ‘The Conjuring’ made no surprise and won the award for the Best Horror film while best adventure/thriller went to Fast and Furious 6. Best thriller and best animation went to World War Z and Frozen, respectively while 12 Years a Slave walked away with Best Indie. The Grand ceremony was held at Castaway Starlight Ballroom in Burbank, California.
