Great News For Deadpool Fans! Production Commences On Sequel
Our favorite Merc with a Mouth is back in action, or, at least on the path to being back in action. Ryan Reynolds announced through his Twitter handle that the production on ‘Deadpool 2’ has officially begun. The actor posted a photo of himself in costume lying outside the Hatley Castle in Vancouver which is the X-Mansion from the X-Men franchise.
Ryan captioned the pic, “Dropped by the X-Mansion. Big fucking surprise. No one's home”. Writer Rhett Reese also re-tweeted the post and said, “We’ve begun!”. This time, Tim Miller will not be at the helm of affairs but instead, John Wick director David Leitch will be directing the project. One of the things that we have learnt from the John Wick franchise is that David has the ability to turn a small budget project into a blockbuster.
The cast will include Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, Jack Kesy who is playing the main antagonist and Shioli Kutsuna in an undisclosed role. Ryan will also be producing the project along with Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner. ‘Deadpool 2’ will be released on June 1 next year.
