After acting in the 2105 flick ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, actress Gwendoline Christie will next be seen in its sequel titled ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’. The 38-year-old star will reprise the role of Captain Phasma, which she played in the previous instalment also. The sequel will be directed by Rian Johnson.

The Game of Thrones star cannot stop praising Rian complementing her about the commendable work that she has done in the film. She watched 2005 neo-noir mystery film, ‘Brick’, and has become great fan of hers since then. “What I can tell you about the next Star Wars film is I think Rian does an exceptional job of going deeper, of going further, and really exploring what these relationships are…” said Gwendoline.

She added, “I was just so delighted to be in The Last Jedi, and for that to be directed by Rian Johnson, who is another director I’ve long admired since I watched ‘Brick’, actually; I thought that was a really brilliant piece of work.” ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ is the eighth chapter of the sci-fi film franchise. It is expected to hit the theatres on December 15, 2017.
