Hacker of 50 Hollywood celebrities’ accounts jailed for 10 years

Christopher Chaney, the man who hacked the email accounts of 50 Hollywood celebrities including actress Scarlett Johansson and pop singer Christina Aguilera, has been jailed for 10 years in prison for leaking nude pictures of Johansson. According to TMZ.com, Scarlett had sent those photos to her then-husband Ryan Reynolds. Chaney reportedly targeted over 50 Hollywood celebrities including Mila Kunis and pleaded guilty to charges including wiretapping and unauthorised access to a computer.

Aguilera said ahead of his sentencing, "That feeling of security can never be given back and there is no compensation that can restore the feeling one has from such a large invasion of privacy." US District Judge S James Otero sentenced Chaney in LA following a video statement from Johansson.
