Hailee Steinfield suffered from bullying in her middle school days?

She is just 16-years-old and she is already an Academy Award nominee as well as BAFTA Award-nominated for her excellent performance in the 2010 film True Grit. Yes we are talking about the cute yet gorgeous teenager star of Hollywood, Hailee Steinfield.

Eight more big Hollywood projects, including Romeo and Juliet and Ender’s Game are already signed to her name and she gets spotted hanging around with the likes of Taylor Swift in Paris. Though everything in her life looks like cool and perfect, a recent revelation by the actress herself has brought out all the secrets of her life. In the June edition of Glamour, Hailee disclosed that she was nothing different from non-celeb kids in her school and she has faced the same struggles like them.

According to Hailee, "Bullying is something I went through, from third to sixth grade, when I got pulled out [of school]. I still go through it.” She also assured, "And if I can be the person who says, 'Trust me when I tell you it will be OK,' then I will be that person.” But Hailee has never held any grudge towards the troublemakers. "Often bullies are taking something [personal] out on others,” she clarified, "If they use that energy to make someone smile, we can save so many people in the long run." It seems Hailee has been quite matured through the course of the years, though sometimes beyond her age.
