Harrison Ford to be honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award

It has been officially announced that actor-producer Harrison Ford will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Zurich Film Festival. His highly successful career will be acknowledged at the annual film fest in Switzerland on October 4.

Festival directors Karl Spoerri and Nadja Schildknecht issued a joint statement, "Harrison Ford has had one of the most remarkable careers of any actor in cinema, helping to propel two of the greatest movie franchises by bringing to life iconic roles that have become just as famous as the films themselves.” The statement said more, "Few actors have commanded the leading man role that Harrison Ford has embodied throughout his career, and continues to showcase in every new project.” The 71-year-old Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star will be seen next in Ender`s Game, a young adult fantasy film. He was seen last in the critically acclaimed baseball movie 42.
