    Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises’ English version gets its voice cast

    Four-time Academy Award winner Hayao Miyazaki is heading for his last directorial venture. The Japanese filmmaker is coming up with the English version of The Wind Rises, a Japanese animated flick. It is heard that the filmmaker has finalized the voice cast for the flick. According to the reports, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, the couple who are expecting their first child next year, are roped in to lend their voices to the characters.

    Joseph Gordon-Levitt will lend his voice to the main character, Jiro Horikoshi - who crafted fighter planes, Mitsubishi A5M and Mitsubishi A6M Zero, used during World War II while John Krasinski will voice the character of Jiro’s friend, Honjo. Emily Blunt will voice Nahoko Satomi’s character, the love interest of Jiro Horikoshi. Other stars signed for the venture are Martin Short, Stanley Tucci, Mandy Patinkin, William H. Macy and few more. The director Miyazaki last summer announced that the English version of The Wind Rises (Japanese) would be his last movie.
