Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman to helm Nerve

Directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are all set to team up again to direct Nerve. The two have together created Paranormal Activity 3 and Paranormal Activity 4 and have also directed a show, Catfish. Nerve will be produced by Allison Shearmur. It is being said that the flick will be based on Jeanne Ryan’s young adult novel.

The script of the film has been written by Jessica Sharzer. The story of the flick is about a high school’s unpopular individual who doesn't socialize or participate in activities at social events. In order to come out of her shell, she joins an online game of truth or dare and the audiences vote and comment. The twist comes when she becomes famous and finds herself in a life-ending situation as the game evolves.
