    Hollywood’s Legendary Actor And Filmmaker Peter Baldwin Dies At 86

    Sad news for Hollywood fraternity. Hollywood’s legendary actor and filmmaker Peter Baldwin has died at 86. The veteran star’s acting and filmmaking career spanned for more than four decades.



    Peter starred in movies such as Stalag 17, The Ten Commandments, and Teacher’s Pet. Baldwin also served the Navy for three years. The actor returned to the movie industry and starred in movies such as The Tin Star and Little Boy Lost. He won many awards as a filmmaker for movies such as Dream On and The Wonder Years. After retiring, the actor served on the board of the Pacific Repertory Theater in Carmel-By-The-Sea.



    Peter Baldwin was born in Winnetka, Illinois and was discovered by a Hollywood talent scout in his final year at Stanford University. The late actor and director is survived by his wife, Terry, son Drew Baldwin, daughters Amy Anderson and Eleonora Baldwin, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
