    Homeland Season 5 Gets New Trailer

    Showtime has released a new trailer for the fifth season of the hit show Homeland. The trailer provides glimpses of the story and the return of Carrie Mathison, played by Claire Danes. It takes place two years after the events of season four.

    Carrie Mathison has moved to private sector as the head of security trying to leave behind her life at the CIA. The trailer seems action packed sequences with a generous sprinkle of the story that binds them together. Peter Quinn played by Rupert Friend reprises his role as the no questions asked assassin and is seen completing hit missions for F. Murray Abraham returning as Dar Adal.


    Homeland season 5 will air on October 4 on Showtime at 9 p.m. ET. The series is developed by show runners Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa. The fifth season will have 12 episodes as of now and includes several real life subjects like ISIS, Vladimir Putin, the Charlie Hebdo shooting and Edward Snowden.
