    Hugh Jackman has revealed he would consider playing the world’s suave super-spy, 007 James Bond, if asked. Hollywood hunk told Australian TV show’ The Project’ that he was once approached about the role years ago. He admitted though that he would seriously consider it, if he would be offer to do the role again.


    “At the time I was just about to do X-Men 2 and I was like, ‘Ah, I don’t think it’s the right time,'” he said. And if he was asked to play the role again? “I’d seriously consider it.” He also said, “At the time I was just about to do X-Men 2 and I was like, ‘Ah, I don’t think it’s the right time’.


    Daniel Craig recently admitted he has no current plans to appear in a fifth Bond movie, telling UK magazine Esquire, "At the moment I can't even conceive it ... I have a life and I've got to get on with it a bit. But we'll see."


    Jackman will next be on movie screens as Blackbeard in the Peter Pan movie, Pan, which will have its world premiere on 8 October. James Bond writer Anthony Horowitz recently had to apologise after calling Elba “too street” to play the character.
