Prisoners is far different from Wolverine as no rough-and-tough Hugh Jackman will appear in the former one. Rather he looks devastated in the new trailer of Prisoners as he finds out that his daughter has gone missing.

Prisoners is a kidnapping thriller which has a number of twists to make it engaging and it will see Jackman and Maria Bello play the role of a couple. The couple was visiting their friends Terrence Howard and Viola Davis and their daughter goes missing suddenly along with the daughter of their friends. Then enters Jake Gyllenhaal as Detective Loki who promises to find out the girls but with nil result. The main suspect is the kidnapping case is Paul Dano who looks weird throughout the film and everyone speculates he can be the only kidnapper.

But the investigating cops have not enough evidence against him. This indecisiveness of the police officials leads to Jackman’s increasing desperateness and he decides to take law in his own hands. Then everything happens in the quest of truth - candlelit marches, grilling by police, domestic confrontations and forensic investigations which ultimately lead to the capture of Dano by Jackman. The trailer reveals so many things but still we have to wait for the final opening day of the film to get to know what the actual twist is in the entire plot. The film has been helmed by 2011 Oscar nominee Denis Villenueve of Incendies fame. Prisoners is due to release on September 20.
