    Hunger Games wins again

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay ″ has topped $500 million in global ticket sales and ranks as the number one film at the overseas box office. The hit sequel picked up $31.6 million, pushing its total after three weeks to $560.5 million. “Mockingjay - Part 1″ doesn’t open in China, the world’s second biggest film market, until 2015 - a debut that should fatten Lionsgate’s coffers.

“The Penguins of Madagascar” (20th Century Fox) was second, selling about $11.1 million in tickets, for a relatively lackluster two-week total of $49.6 million. “Horrible Bosses 2” (Warner Bros.) pulled in a scrawny $8.6 million, for a two-week total of $36.1 million - about 36 percent less than its series predecessor at the same point. Family film Big Hero 6 was fourth with $8.1 million, and Christopher Nolan's space-set mind scrambler Interstellar earned $8 million to claim the No. 5 spot.
